13th Catamarans Cup 2023 - Full story
The Catamarans Cup international sailing race for cruising catamarans
made a strong return this year to celebrate its 13th anniversary in style.
Istion Yachting once again kicked off the popular race on Saturday 28 October 2023 from Athens with a record-breaking attendance, hosting roughly 250+ participants from 15 countries. Combining sailing action, fun team-building side events, super-fun parties and the official award ceremonies, the Catamarans Cup is open to both experienced sailors and families or groups with no previous sailing experience. This year the ever-enchanting and highly popular islands of the Argolic and Saronic Gulf were in the spotlight and the legs offered action-packed sailing and fun. Even when the wind wasn’t on our side, our sailing catamarans formed a giant circle flotilla big enough to mark our spot on the map and get the party going. A great time was had by all crews and Istion thanks everyone who participated to make this year’s Catamarans Cup the best yet!

Popular destinations and racing action!
This year the ever-enchanting and highly popular locations of the Argolic and Saronic Gulf were in the spotlight and the legs offered action-packed sailing and even more fun! Even when the wind wasn’t picking up our sailing catamarans formed a giant circle flotilla big enough to mark our spot in the map and get the party going. Of course, there wouldn't be a party without proper watersports, water toys & side activities!
11th Catamarans Cup 2021 - Full Story
A week of competitive sailing, fun & exciting events in the majestic Greek islands!
This is what the 11th Catamarans Cup was all about!
The full Catamarans Cup experience is over and we at Istion Yachting would like to thank each and every one of you beautiful people that skippered our beautiful yachts and made our days even more special after a 1 year Covid-19 hiatus. 4 races and numerous events after we can surely claim that the 11th Catamarans Cup was a total blast! The 11th was special in every wave we’ve met during the course of these 4 races and each port we’ve docked in the end of each race!
Day 1 - Athens, Alimos
Crew Presentation, Welcome & Opening Ceremony. Best Style Crew Presentation. Each crew got to present themselves during the welcome dinner, some of them in full outfits of their liking. As always the participant crews were as joyous and unique as ever! Full of smiles, energy and committed to enjoy the full Catamarans Cup experience!
Day 2: 1st Leg, Athens - Kea
The second day of the Catamarans Cup was a unique combination of fun, relaxation and sailing! Mystical Kea was the area of interest regarding the 1st leg of our sailing competition and our meeting point later in the night.
The 3rd day of the 11th Catamarans Cup was the most vivid so far during our stay in Kythnos! 2nd leg from #Kea to #Kythnos was a fierce and exhilarating sailing battle! All of our participants tested their sailing skills in our grandiose catamarans! Full of exciting sailing moments and events such as the crew-favorite Cook Off! competition! Our crews put their creative ideas into test and came up with a unique dish - of course in the most sanitary manner as possible - just enough for 20 people to taste. The entirety of the event and our crews cooking products were to dine for! Kythnos was enticing as always and led us to explore Cycladic paths and whitewashed wonders.
The 4th day of the 11th Catamarans Cup can serve as an entire highlight reel of relentless sailing! The 3rd leg from Kythnos to Hydra proved to be the most exciting as of now requiring all of our crews to demonstrate their sailing skillset in a highly professional manner! Reaching the finishing line and ending the race successfully our catamarans got to dock to the port of Hydra, the noble island in the Argosaronic Gulf. Hydra never disappoints as it's built in the shape of an amphitheatre on a slope overlooking the Argosaronic gulf and is one of the most picturesque destinations in #Greece! Our participants got to explore it's narrow cobblestoned streets and experience the island in all of its glory as it was a free evening for everyone and had no programmed events for the rest of the day!
Final day of the event and the setup was ready for the final race! Every crew was ready to sail after hosting the daily skippers briefing in the early hours of Thursday the 20th of October. The island of Poros was to be the the finishing line of the race and final destination of this year’s Catamarans Cup sailing tour. This year for the first time ever the Show Off! Competition was done aboard the catamarans where each crew got the chance to “dress-up” in costumes and theme of their choice and of course race to the finishing line. After the race, a farewell dinner was held in order to congratulate the participants and winners of the overall sailing competition rescheduling their next meet-up at the 12th Catamarans Cup in 2022.

The work of the naval architects and designers has been focused on one objective: to create a real cruising catamaran capable of taking you to the most remote spots on earth to enjoy an isolated cove, an abandoned beach or a secret wave.
Bali 4.2
The spacious saloon is Bali catamarans trademark, and Bali 4.2 is no exception, with enough seating area around the table with a bar. Design of this catamaran offers various layout options and a vast selection of upscale materials, so it is customizable to the last detail!
