Istion Yachting proudly announces the 8th Catamarans Cup – under the auspices of the Greek National Tourism Organization - which is scheduled for the 21st to 28th of October 2017.

The official route has not been announced yet, but families and crews participating this year should be certain that they will enjoy a relaxing holiday week in the Greek islands and combine their sailing with enjoyable side events!

3 ways to participate: charter a bareboat catamaran, charter a crewed catamaran, or join one of our open crews as crewmember – no experience required.

Istion Yachting, is happy to present you an new entry in her fleet. The racer cruiser catamaran carbon Sig 45, equipped with 3 cabins and 2 WC/showers, is available for skippered charters out of Athens. The Sig 45 catamaran is easy and enjoyable to sail fast. The ride is smooth and very comfortable. Don't lose the opportunity to live this experience.

We are happy to present two new entries to the Istion Yachting fleet, the Bali 4.0 and the Bali 4.3! Both boats are equipped with 4+2 cabins and 4 WC/showers and there will be available for bareboat & skippered charter at Catamarans Cup regatta. These wonderful catamarans are fully equipped and designed to deliver comfort and the space that is needed to relax and enjoy the pleasure of sailing.

Leg 4: the day was full of adventure! After the crew meeting, all catamarans sailed to Epidavros.
Photos registration for the Shoot of completion followed, as well as a dinner at Verdelis hotel. But the fun didn’t stop there! The ‘SHOW OFF! competition took place during the night, so all crews had the chance to enjoy each other’s efforts of performing a creative presentation.

On the 25th of October, the day started with the Skipper’s meeting, as every day. All crews had the opportunity to make a round of Poros island and planed their delicious dish for the COOK OFF! Competition took place, during night. Each crew prepared and presented one or more dishes to the rest of the fleet. The winners of the COOK OFF! Leg 2: Second day of the race! All crews left Kea island and Poros island, was the next destination. During night and after the race ended up, crews had the opportunity to enjoy a BB-Q meal, at a local tavern, while the prize giving of 2nd Leg, took place.

First day of the 7th Catamarans Cup!
Athens (Vouliagmeni), was the starting point and Kea Island, the destination. On Sunday morning, the skippers from all catamarans gathered for their daily meeting and organized all details of the race. All crews had also the opportunity to free sail until the starting line. By the end of the day, the winners of the first leg were announced at Breeze Bar along with wine, finger food, and lots of fun!

The time has finally come!!
The 7th Catamarans Cup, started on the 22nd of October 2016. All crews arrived in Athens Alimos marina, and after the check in procedure, they had the opportunity to embark on their catamaran. Later at night, the Opening ceremony took place at Kitchen Bar and after the welcome dinner the crews presented themselves for a chance to win “BEST CREW STYLE”, as part of the new BEST CREW STYLE competition debuting this year.
